Blu Tuesday @ Nouveau Tavern

Iota Nu Sigma November 14th, 2014

The men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Iota Nu Sigma Chapter present our Blu Tuesday Annual Toy Drive benefitting our community non-profit partners. Admission for this event is a book, toy, or $10 cash.
This Blu Tuesday also reintroduces our friends and families to one of Chicago's trendiest venues, Nouveau Tavern. To help make the event a success, we've invited affinity groups from various Chicago-area companies such as the Allstate African American Working Network and the Sodexo African American Leadership Forum and more to enhance the experience as well as Progressive Greek Magazine
The attire is business casual/professional, and don't forget to bring plenty of business cards to pass out.
Everyone is welcome!

Taste Of Blu Tuesday @ The Black Pearl

Iota Nu Sigma November 14th, 2014

A Taste of Blu Tuesday celebrates cultural differences and promotes cultural diversity by bringing together chef samplings from over 10 of Chicagolands up and coming chefs, along with music reflecting the African American and Latino heritages.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to our PassRite Foundation which in turn provides educational scholarships for members of The Sigma Beta Club, our educational male mentoring program for teen males ages 12-18. The plight of inner city male teens is of major concern nationwide, but critical here in Chicago. Our program reaches into the community to encourage, inspire, guide and shape potentially lost boys into becoming productive and educated citizens. By equipping the young men with the skills to achieve scholastically and build self-esteem we are changing their destinies and charting their course for future success.
