Charles Talbert

As Vice President for Iota Nu Sigma Chapter, Brother Talbert’s responsibilities include working closely with the President to ensure the success of chapter programming. Being the VP also places Bro. Talbert as the chairman of the Membership Committee of the Chapter, responsible for the oversight of the recruitment, reactivation and retention efforts of the Chapter.

Brother Talbert was initiated into Phi Beta Sigma on November 1, 1980, through the Iota Nu Chapter at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. Since his induction, Brother Talbert has held several leadership positions as International Director of Publicity, Great Lakes Regional Director, Vice Regional Director, Regional Secretary, Illinois State Director, Regional Director of Collegiate Affairs and Regional Director of Publicity.

He has served previously as the president of Iota Nu Sigma, as well as secretary, director of social action and co-chair of the Sigma Beta Club.

Brother Talbert is a founder and charter member of Iota Nu Sigma, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of The PassRite Education Foundation, Inc., the 501(c)(3) auxiliary educational arm of Iota Nu Sigma Chapter.

Brother Talbert resides in Chicago, Illinois in the Bronzeville Community. He is the Director of Human Resources for a Chicago medium-sized full service law firm and a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.
